The Hathersage jacket is a functional ladies work jacket. Made using a slub-woven wool from Italy. Each piece has been hand-tailored in Yorkshire by a women named Cynthia.

To mirror the simplicity and minimalism of the design, both are finished with a single Mamnick engraved buffalo-horn button, made here in Sheffield and stitched on by hand. Made in very limited numbers.

Hathersage is a village in the Peak District, Derbyshire. The origin of it's name is disputed but it is generally accepted that the second half derives from the Old English word ecg meaning "edge". In 1086 it was recorded in the Doomsday book as Hereseige and around 1220 it was recorded as Hauersegg.
